About us

iTouch 360 works with South African retailers that want shoppers to spend more time with products and less time walking past them. From our Midrand base, we support store rollouts, display upgrades and ongoing service for sites in major centres and regional branches alike.

About us

How iTouch 360 began in retail space

iTouch 360 was founded in 2012 in Midrand, Gauteng, with a clear focus on retail environments where display, information and foot traffic all matter on the same floor. The business started with a simple idea: when shoppers can interact with a product at the point of sale, they understand it faster and make better buying decisions. That matters whether the store is in a shopping centre in Sandton, a high street site in Pretoria, or a busy branch in Cape Town where staff have limited time to explain every detail.

Over the years, the company has grown by working closely with retailers who need practical equipment that fits the realities of South African trading. That includes load-shedding, crowded store layouts, coastal humidity in Durban, and the mixed power and network conditions that many branches deal with daily. We do not treat a rollout as a box drop. We look at where people queue, where they stop, and how the solution will hold up once it is in use all day, every day.

The team is led by Sibusiso Mthembu, with support from people who understand both the technical and retail sides of the work. Lerato Khumalo manages operations, Johan van Wyk oversees technical direction, Anele Dlamini supports retail solution planning, Megan Naidoo coordinates projects, Thabo Molefe handles installations, and Zanele Mokoena leads client support. That mix keeps the work grounded and keeps decisions practical, not theoretical.

What we value when we work with stores

Our values are simple: make it useful, make it neat, and make it last. Retail equipment has to do more than look smart on day one. It needs to handle regular use, cleaning, movement, and the occasional hard knock from a trolley or a rushed restock team. That is why we put so much attention into materials, mounting, software setup and how the final unit fits into the store flow.

We also value clear communication. Retail projects often involve store managers, head office teams, marketing staff and IT support, so a solution can stall quickly if everyone is working from a different brief. We keep the process plain and direct. That means confirming the site conditions, checking power and network access, agreeing on branding and content needs, then planning the installation and handover with care. There is no point in clever equipment if the staff feel unsure about using it.

  • Practical advice based on the store, not on a generic template
  • Careful planning for power, network access and floor traffic
  • Clear handover so staff know how to use the system from day one
  • Ongoing support for branches that need follow-up after launch

Interactive kiosks built for everyday customer use

Our interactive touchscreen kiosks are designed for retail settings where shoppers want quick answers without waiting for assistance. They can be used to browse ranges, view product details, check specifications, compare options or access branded information in a tidy self-service format. In a busy store, that can free up staff for higher value tasks while still giving customers the attention they expect.

We pay attention to placement, viewing height and touch response because these details affect whether people actually use the kiosk or walk past it. A screen that is too high, a stand that sits awkwardly in a narrow aisle, or content that is slow to load will reduce engagement fast. Our job is to reduce friction. We want the unit to feel like part of the store, not a separate piece of technology sitting in the way.

The same thinking applies to software configuration and content loading. We make sure the display is easy to navigate, the information is relevant, and the on-screen structure matches the way shoppers move through the category. When stores update ranges or promotions, we can assist with changes so the kiosk stays current and useful. That keeps the display from becoming stale after the launch week.

360-degree product display stands that show more detail

Our 360-degree product display stands give retailers a way to present items from every angle, which is useful when the shape, finish or mechanism of a product influences the sale. Shoppers can inspect the item visually without needing to lift it from the shelf, and staff can guide the experience in a cleaner, more controlled way. This works well for high-value products, seasonal launches and items where detail matters before purchase.

These stands are particularly helpful in stores that want a stronger in-store story without crowding the floor with too many fixtures. A good display stand should support the product, protect it and make it easier to understand. It should also suit the store branding and not fight with the rest of the environment. We can assist with custom branding so the stand feels consistent with the retail setting and not like a borrowed display from somewhere else.

  • Suitable for showroom floors, product launch areas and feature bays
  • Supports branded visuals and clear product messaging
  • Helps present more detail without cluttering the shelf space
  • Can be paired with staff training for better customer engagement

How we handle sites across South Africa

Although we are based in Midrand, our work reaches retailers across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Bloemfontein. We support branches from our Midrand showroom, Johannesburg supply, Pretoria supply, Centurion support, Sandton support, Cape Town supply, Durban supply and Bloemfontein supply. That footprint helps us stay close to the areas where retail activity is strongest, while still serving sites further out when needed.

Every site has its own realities. A mall store in Cape Town may need extra care with coastal conditions. A branch in Durban may need attention to humidity and daily foot traffic. A store in Johannesburg might want quicker turnaround for rollout work across several locations. We plan around those differences instead of treating every branch the same. Site assessments help us see what is possible before the work begins, and delivery installation keeps the process steady once the plan is approved.

We also take municipal and store rules seriously. Some sites need specific loading bay times, mall access steps or internal health and safety checks before installation can begin. We work with those requirements so there are fewer delays and less disruption to trading. It sounds basic, but it saves time and avoids frustration for everyone involved.

Support that continues after installation

Retail technology needs proper aftercare. Once a kiosk or display stand is installed, the work does not end there. We offer preventative servicing, fault repairs, parts replacement and support retainers so stores can keep equipment working as expected. That matters when a branch is busy and cannot afford a display that sits idle for days waiting on attention.

Our support approach is built around fast response and clear diagnosis. If something is not working, we look at the issue properly, whether it is a software setting, a network connection, a worn component or a physical fault. Then we sort the remedy in a way that keeps the store operating. Staff training also plays a big part here, because a well-trained team is less likely to make avoidable mistakes or miss early warning signs.

For retailers rolling out to multiple branches, we can help keep standards consistent from site to site. That includes the same general look, the same basic user flow and the same support process when a branch needs help. The aim is simple: give customers a reliable experience and give store teams equipment that they can trust, day after day.
